ISA Youth Nationals

Curradinghy Sailing is proud to announce its continued sponsorship of the ISA Youth Nationals. Last year, Curradinghy Sailing worked along side the ISA and Zhik to offer a huge prize haul for the event.  This year, we are repeating our sponsorship of the event in continuing our support for the development of Irish youth sailing and the growth of the Irish sailing community generally.

 

This year, Curradinghy Sailing will again offer on shore support with its complete Chandlery, Coaching Clinics and Repair services.

 

The ISA Youth Nationals is Ireland’s premier youth dinghy racing event. It follows hard winter training programmes in each Class and marks the start of the home and international competitive season.  It is one of the ISAF selection indicators - to gain a coveted place in the Irish Sailing Team at the ISAF Youth Worlds, being held this year in Istanbul in July.

 

ISA Youth & Development Manager Rory Fitzpatrick commented: “There’s a lot at stake for the more senior sailors and the competition will be hot. Many have shown good form at international spring competitions, while others have focused on winter training”.
